First of all thank you very much for your participation in the English Parties last week, every child had at least one member of the family present, a great turn out! We hope you had a good time.
I have had a few requests for the Cookies Recipe, so here it is!!
Ingredients:
1 large egg
125g butter
100g soft light brown sugar (this makes them soft but if you cannot get it there then substitute with granulated)
50g granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
135g oats
90g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bi carb of soda
pinch salt
200g chocolate (a mix of white and milk chocolate)
125g butter
100g soft light brown sugar (this makes them soft but if you cannot get it there then substitute with granulated)
50g granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
135g oats
90g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bi carb of soda
pinch salt
200g chocolate (a mix of white and milk chocolate)
Honey (as much as you like)
Instructions:
Make sure the butter is really soft and beat in the sugars until really smooth. Add in the egg and vanilla.
Add the oats, flour, bi carb of soda and salt stir until cookie dough is formed.
Add in the chocolate.
Put the mix in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Make the cookie dough into roughly 12 balls. Leave in the fridge at least one night!!
To bake press the cookies down into the shape you want and leave space between each cookie.
When you want to bake the cookies pre-heat the oven to 180C/350F. Bake for 12 minutes. THEY WON'T LOOK DONE BUT YOU WANT THEM SOFT!
Enjoy,
Tom
